University and Louis Bevier Fellowship, 2023

The Rutgers School of Graduate Studies’ University & Bevier Dissertation Completion Fellowship is designed to provide support during a doctoral candidate’s final year of dissertation work. The award is intended to support completion and recognize excellence. SGS awards 15 University and Louis Bevier Dissertation Completion Fellowships each academic year.

Eagleton Fellowship Program - Class of 2024

The Eagleton Fellowship offers Rutgers graduate students the opportunity to further their understanding of government, public affairs, and the real-world practice of politics. During the fellowship, students make connections between their Eagleton coursework, government internship experience, and their chosen fields of study.

Stanley H. and Claire A. Friedelbaum Graduate Student Fund Award, 2021, 2022, & 2023

The fund supports full-time doctoral students with a concentration in Public Law. Two awards given each year to fund dissertation research, second year conference papers, or attendance at annual meetings of Law and Society Association or Annual American Association of Law Schools conference.

Kneller Fellowship, 2022 & 2023

Awarded for research conducted on unusual sentencing within the criminal justice system.

Janet Box-Steffensmeier Scholarship, Society for Political Methodology, 2020

Awarded to encourage women graduate students in political science to attend the ICPSR Summer Program. The scholarship is awarded to up to three women graduate students in Ph.D. programs.

Dr. Yong S. Lee Excellence in Public Management Award, Iowa State University of Science and Technology, 2019

Two awards are given each year to students in the Public Policy and Management Program pursuing his/her master’s degree. Faculty instructors select the “best in class” based on students’ papers from their respective courses. Recipients are selected based on how many “best in class” papers he or she submits in one academic year.
