Katie Krumbholz (MA, Political Science, 2019) has received a 2020 Janet Box-Steffensmeier Award from the Society for Political Methodology. The announcement was made June 10, 2020 by the Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR) Summer Program in Quantitative Methods of Social Research at the University of Michigan.

Four years ago this month, Katie (Hoyle) Krumbholz finally walked free out of prison. Now, she’s planning to walk across the stage of Iowa State University in the spring of 2019 to receive her college degree.
